The Saltillo Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Nettleton Tigers to 41 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Lafayette for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Saltillo will confront a Commodores team coming off a 63-44 non-league loss to South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS). The Commodores record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Nettleton falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Amory (Amory, MS) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 2-5. Amory lost 71-19 in their recent non-league game against Belmont (Belmont, MS)
