Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Braddock Bulldogs (Miami, FL) and the host Southwest Eagles (Miami, FL), saw Braddock's soccer squad hold off Southwest by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Coral Reef (Miami, FL). The Barracudas enter the 7A D16 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Coral Reef was edged by Palmetto (Miami, FL), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Goleman Gators (Miami, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, December 9. Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
