St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA), 62-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Francis advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Golden Knights host Loyola (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Cubs in a non-league match on Saturday, November 23. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 1-0. Loyola won 69-59 in their recent non-league match against Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA)
The Trailblazers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Camino Real for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 26.
