Lumberton Pirates (Lumberton, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC), 77-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lumberton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Pirates host Overhills (Spring Lake, NC) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 1-2. Overhills won 39-33 in their recent non-league match against Western Harnett (Lillington, NC)

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scotland for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 3.
