Illinois High School Basketball - Webber can't hold off Christopher

Christopher Bearcats (Christopher, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Webber Trojans (Bluford, IL), 36-29 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Christopher advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league contest on Saturday, November 22. The Cardinals go into the contest with a record of 2-0. Woodlawn won 81-24 in their recent non-league contest against Cairo (Cairo, IL)

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Sesser-Valier/Waltonville Red Devils (Sesser, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 24. Webber will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
