Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gatesville upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Whitney (Whitney, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Whitney lost 43-25 in their recent non-league bout against China Spring (China Spring, TX)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 30. Lorena will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
