The Scales Mound Hornets (Scales Mound, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Dakota Indians (Dakota, IL), 69-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Pearl City was trounced by Galena (Galena, IL), 53-27, in a non-league test.
