American Prep WV Eagles (West Valley City, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), 29-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, American Prep WV upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Intermountain Christian (Salt Lake City, UT) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Knights play the American Prep WV Eagles (West Valley City, UT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
