McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA), 47-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McDonough upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Warhawks travel to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA) to play the Wolfpack in a AAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Astros play the Chapel Hill Panthers (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 86-24 non-league loss to Rockdale County (Conyers, GA).
