El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX), 40-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, El Paso upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Tigers host Chapin (El Paso, TX) to play the Huskies in a 5A Region I District 1 bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Chapin won 68-22 in their recent non-league bout against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Clint Lions (Clint, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Ysleta will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
