The McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), 67-15 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Titans (2-0) will now prepare for their test against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, R-S Central was trounced by Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 55-15, in a non-league test.
The Warhorses now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tuscola for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 29. Owen will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 46-29 non-league loss to Erwin (Asheville, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-2.
