The North Stokes Vikings basketball team scored 43 points and held the host McMichael Phoenix to 27 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Stokes for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. North Stokes will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 48-31 non-league loss to Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

The Phoenix (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Sauras enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, South Stokes ran past West Stokes (King, NC), 36-30, in a non-league contest.
