New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL), 44-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, New Trier upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Trevians host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to play the Scouts in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Scouts come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Lake Forest won 41-30 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL)

Next up, the Ramblers play the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. Loyola Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 82-58 non-league win over Bulls College Prep (Chicago, IL).
