The MacArthur Generals basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Springfield Southeast Spartans to 36 in the Generals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Generals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edwardsville for a non-league contest on Friday, November 24.
The Spartans (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Decatur Eisenhower prevailed over Peoria (Peoria, IL), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
