South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL), 54-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Beloit upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sobos travel to Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL) to play the Missiles in a non-league bout on Friday, November 24. The Missiles go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Milledgeville lost 42-39 in their recent non-league bout against North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL)

Next up, the Vikings play the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. North Boone will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
