Arizona High School Basketball - Florence overwhelmed by North

The Florence Gophers basketball team (Florence, AZ), was overwhelmed 51-27 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ)

The Mustangs now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Mountain for a non-league battle on Friday, November 24. North will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 62-51 non-league win over Kailua (Kailua, HI). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 3-0.

The Gophers (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ). The Phoenix come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
