North Carolina High School Basketball - Central Davidson tops Alexander Central

Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), 37-24 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Central Davidson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Alexander Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 35-30 non-league win over Foard (Newton, NC).
