In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Pennington Tigers basketball team scored a big 64-36 triumph over the Appalachian Eagles.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Carbon Hill smashed Dora (Dora, AL), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, November 25. Appalachian will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 60-51 non-league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL).
