The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the host Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL), observed Austin's basketball team overcome Decatur by a margin of 66-51.

The Black Bears (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Northridge defeated New Hope (Columbus, MS), 69-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Shelby County Wildcats (Columbiana, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 23. Decatur will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 64-29 non-league win over Ellwood Christian (Selma, AL).
