The Bowie Pirates basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Linden-Kildare Tigers to 14 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to McLeod for a non-league game on Friday, November 22. Bowie will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 41-33 non-league win over Avery (Avery, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Linden-Kildare falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, November 23. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-4. Bloomburg lost 41-23 in their recent non-league game against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX)
