The Temple Wildcats basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Elgin Wildcats to 31 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Waco for a non-league game on Monday, November 25. Temple will confront a Lions team coming off a 58-53 non-league loss to Fossil Ridge (Keller, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Elgin falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, November 25. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-4. Cedar Creek won 66-64 in their recent non-league game against Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX)
