The Southside Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Hokes Bluff Eagles to 55 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the victory, Southside upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to UMS-Wright Prep (Mobile, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, November 23. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-2. UMS-Wright Prep lost 76-69 in their recent non-league match against Bryant (Irvington, AL)

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West End for a non-league match on Monday, November 25. Hokes Bluff will face a Patriots squad coming off a 75-48 non-league loss to Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
