Texas High School Basketball - MacArthur routed by Jefferson

Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX), 72-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Holmes (San Antonio, TX) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Saturday, November 23. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 3-8. Holmes lost 83-53 in their recent non-league match against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX)

The Brahmas now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Winn for a 5A Region IV District 28 match on Tuesday, November 26. MacArthur will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 70-38 non-league loss to Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-7.
