Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA), 18-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Grayson County improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league battle on Friday, November 29. The Chargers go into the battle with a record of 11-0. Bath County won 49-14 in their recent non-league battle against Narrows (Narrows, VA)
The Maroons now have a 8-4 record.
