North Carolina High School Basketball - Alexander Central thwarts Davie

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) and the visiting Davie War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), observed Alexander Central's basketball team knock off Davie by a score of 66-57.

The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the War Eagles encounter the North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 26. Davie will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
