In Friday's non-league contest, the host American Christian Academy Patriots basketball team scored a good 50-35 triumph over the University Charter Trail Blazers.
The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Brookwood was topped by Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL), 48-24, in a non-league contest.
