The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) and the host Cherokee Indians (Cherokee, AL), observed Covenant Christian's basketball team edge Cherokee by a score of 39-35.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Biggersville (Corinth, MS). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Biggersville edged Falkner (Falkner, MS), 65-29, in a non-league challenge.
