The New Caney Eagles basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Cleveland Indians to 28 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Conroe for a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Tuesday, November 26.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Tarkington Longhorns (Cleveland, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, November 25. Cleveland will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 30-22 non-league loss to Buna (Buna, TX).
