California High School Basketball - Sierra nips Morro Bay

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) and the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), observed Sierra's basketball team edge Morro Bay by a margin of 44-41.

The Chieftains (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Reedley was tipped by Madera South (Madera, CA), 39-28, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 26. Morro Bay will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
