The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Saline Hornets (Saline, MI) and the host Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI), witnessed Saline's ice hockey team defeat Pioneer by a final score of 3-1.

The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Huron (Ann Arbor, MI). The River Rats come into the Michigan Metro challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Huron got by Cabrini (Allen Park, MI), 6-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Divine Child Falcons (Dearborn, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 23. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI).
