The Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) basketball edged the visiting Avoyelles Charter Vikings (Mansura, LA), 50-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
Next, the Warhorses clash with the Oak Hill Rams (Hineston, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, November 24. Peabody will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 56-52 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA).
The Vikings (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Brusly held off Magnolia School of Excellence (Shreveport, LA), 58-27, in a non-league test.
