The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC) and the visiting Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles (Windsor, NC), observed Northeast Academy's basketball team edge Bethel Assembly Christian Academy by a margin of 45-41.
The Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Christ Covenant was nudged by Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC), 38-26, in a league match.
The Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coastal Brigade for a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. Bethel Assembly Christian Academy will meet a BRIGADE MINUTEMAN squad coming off a 41-18 non-league win over Mount Calvary Christian Academy (Hookerton, NC). The BRIGADE MINUTEMAN record now stands at 3-0.
