Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX) backers went home thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team smash the visiting Texline Tornadoes (Texline, TX), 50-21 in a non-league contest.

The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hereford (Hereford, TX). The Whitefaces go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Hereford smashed Childress (Childress, TX), 59-33, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tornadoes confront the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, November 25. Texline will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Leopards enter the outing with a 5-3 record after their 53-51 non-league win over Gruver (Gruver, TX).
