The Lee Ganders basketball team (Baytown, TX), was overwhelmed 62-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX)
The Rangers now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barbers Hill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 30. Sterling will confront a Eagles team coming off a 41-35 non-league loss to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial (Corpus Christi, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.
The Ganders (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Stingarees come into the 5A Region III District 22 battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Texas City was overwhelmed by La Porte (La Porte, TX), 59-20, in a league battle.
