Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL), 57-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Richards upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL) to play the Meteors in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Meteors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 25. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 66-39 non-league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL).
