Arkansas High School Basketball - Clinton can't hold off Shirley

The Shirley Blue Devils basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Clinton Yellowjackets to 65 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Side for a 1A Region 2 contest on Wednesday, November 30. Shirley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 82-39 non-league win over Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.
The Yellowjackets (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Robinson (Little Rock, AR). The Senators enter the 4A Region 5 contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Robinson was nudged by Catholic (Little Rock, AR), 56-55, in a non-league contest.
