In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Mt. Zion Braves basketball team scored a good 36-27 triumph over the Lincoln Railsplitters.

In their next game, the Braves meet the Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 25. Mt. Zion will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Comanches enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 78-61 league loss to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL).

With the defeat, Lincoln moves to 1-1 on the year. The Railsplitters host Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, November 25. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 1-1. Althoff Catholic won 78-61 in their recent league match against Cahokia (Cahokia, IL)
