New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL), 44-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Vipers travel to Lutheran (Springfield, IL) to clash with the Crusaders in a bout on Monday, November 28. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Ponies clash with the Pawnee Indians (Pawnee, IL) in a MSM bout, on Tuesday, November 29. South Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
