The Spring Hill Bears (Hope, AR) basketball crushed the visiting Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR), 69-41 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bears now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Lafayette County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 26. Spring Hill will play a Cougars team coming off a 58-47 non-league loss to Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Gurdon falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Go-devils host Woodlawn (Rison, AR) to play the Bears in a 2A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
