In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Havana Ducks basketball team scored a close 40-36 triumph over the Illini West Chargers.
The Ducks (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Athens was tipped by Clinton (Clinton, IL), 68-57, in a non-league contest.

The Tornadoes go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 41-31 non-league win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL).
