South Carolina High School Basketball - South Pointe tipped by Sumter

The Sumter Gamecocks basketball team scored 54 points and held the host South Pointe Stallions to 52 in the Gamecocks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gamecocks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oceanside Collegiate Academy for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 28. Sumter will play a Landsharks squad coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Landsharks record now stands at 0-1.

Next up, the Stallions play the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. South Pointe will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 71-49 non-league win over South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
