Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host University Trojans (Irvine, CA), 52-16 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Irvine upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Vaqueros travel to Trabuco Hills (Mission Viejo, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 4-3. Trabuco Hills won 45-43 in their recent non-league bout against El Toro (Lake Forest, CA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Mission Viejo Diablos (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. University will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Diablos come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 41-32 non-league win over Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA).
