    The Columbia Eagles basketball squad (Huntsville, AL), was crushed 63-37 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL)

    With the victory, Lee advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Generals travel to Business Engineering Science Tech (Atlanta, GA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, November 25. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-0. Business Engineering Science Tech won 72-46 in their recent non-league match against Washington (Atlanta, GA)

    The Eagles now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison County for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. Columbia will face a Tigers squad coming off a 69-47 non-league loss to West Morgan (Trinity, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.

First Quarter

With lightning team work, Lee's Eric Foster III, came in hot with six points to start the Lee's dominant win. Je'Rion Peebles had a three that lit a spark for Tristan Thomas to have a breakaway steal for two. Chase Stuart had 4 rebounds that helped Lee come out with key players in scoring positions for the 1st quarter.
The spark for Columbia's five points was Colton Horton.

Second Quarter

As the 2nd quarter began, Ky Washington started out hungry to be in the game with three key rebounds that lead to points for Tristan Thomas. Tristan Thomas had three key steals, and breakaways from Ky Washington, Chase Stuart and Dylan Anderson's rebounds. Antonio Brown came in for great defense and help to add four points for Dylan Anderson.

Third Quarter

After Halftime, Dylan Anderson came out on fire. He had thirteen points, four rebounds and was two for four from the stripe. He was a consistent feature during the 3rd for his defense and offense.
Columbia's Elijah Wilson came out hot as well while scoring ten of their twenty- nine points in the 3rd. Colton Horton added exceptional defense and added another two for Columbia.

Fourth Quarter

At the beginning of the 4th Lee utilized the bench who brought a huge spark for the defense. While Lee only scored six points during the 4th, those points were crucial and made by Antonio Brown, Kam Phipps and Tristan Thomas.
Colton Horton was locked in with five points to finish the game with seventeen of Columbia's thirty-seven points. Eilijah Wilson contributed with thirteen, but Lee's swarming defense the entire game seemed too much for Columbia.
