North Carolina High School Basketball - Phoenix Academy beat College Prep & Leadership Academy

Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), 68-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Phoenix Academy advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Winston Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Saturday, November 29. The Lions enter the match with a record of 1-5. Winston Salem Christian lost 58-54 in their recent non-league match against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)

The Royals now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bartlett Yancey for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 25. College Prep & Leadership Academy will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 58-47 non-league win over College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-1.
