The Brownstown/St. Elmo Eagles basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Farina South Central Cougars to 37 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Neoga for a National Trail contest on Friday, December 1. Brownstown/St. Elmo will meet a Indians team coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL). The Indians record now stands at 1-1.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Patoka (Patoka, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
