Illinois High School Basketball - Mercer County knocked off by Fulton

The Fulton Steamers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Mercer County Golden Eagles to 40 in the Steamers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Steamers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hinckley-Big Rock for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Fulton will battle a Royals team coming off a 65-46 non-league win over Winnebago (Winnebago, IL). The Royals record now stands at 3-2.
The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Monmouth-Roseville lost by Orion (Orion, IL), 55-53, in a non-league match.
