The Kapolei Hurricanes basketball team scored 44 points and held the host McKinley Tigers to 36 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaimuki for a non-league contest on Monday, November 27. Kapolei will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-24 non-league loss to Maryknoll (Honolulu, HI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Damien (Honolulu, HI). The Monarchs enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Damien was outscored by Kapa'a (Kapa'a, HI), 68-48, in a non-league contest.
