Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL), 51-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Peoria upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Limestone (Bartonville, IL) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Eagles play the Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, November 29. Dunlap will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 44-41 league win over Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL).
