Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH), 57-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Minford upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Falcons travel to Athens (The Plains, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Athens lost 46-33 in their recent non-league bout against Warren (Vincent, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH) in a Southern Hills bout, on Monday, November 27. Whiteoak will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 45-26 non-league win over East (Sciotoville, OH).
