The Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) basketball crushed the host Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 65-42 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Blue Comets now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Providence Grove for a non-league bout on Friday, November 29. Asheboro will play a Patriots team coming off a 57-55 non-league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Southwestern Randolph falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC) to play the Jets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. The Jets go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Jordan-Matthews won 64-58 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Trinity, NC)
